The CP system 2 or the Capcom Play System 2 is a recreational machine in motherboard system that appeared in 1993 together with the Super Street Fighter 2 game. CPS-2 is composed of 2 different parts, the first one which was a plate A connected to JAMMA harness and holds the common parts of all the CPS-S games. The second part is the B board that carries the playoffs. The connection between the two is that they are both cartridges and home console. The CPS-2 systems plate A and B are recognized by the color codes per region, and each of the board can be used only one same color.

The plate B has a support battery memory which carries the decryption code that is needed to start the games. In addition to that, these batteries forget their loads and the games doesn't respond. They named this by the connoisseurs to be "Suicide CPS".
