Wonderswan Information

wonderswan roms Bandai Wonderswan can be a handheld device you loved and used to play or it can be a completely unknown term. This is due to the fact it was released in Japan only and it wasn't available outside the country. There are a handful of copies which were transported from Japan and none of them was actually sold anywhere else. Luckily, the Bandai Wonderswan ROMs are available online these days, therefore playing a game or two isn't very difficult.

The device was invented by Gunpei Yokoi or at least he started its development. Gunpei Yokoi died in 1997 and this model was the last device he was working on. The Bandai Wonderswan was actually released in 1999. It was manufactured by Bandai, which is a Japanese company and Koto Laboratory. For most of you, it will sound like a completely new device used for playing games. In reality, Bandai Wonderswan is the 5th model of this kind. Back in a day, it was powered by the 16-bit processor which was used for running all kinds of games on a relatively large display. The device was well-known for the ability to play games in horizontal and vertical layout. The biggest competitors were Game Boy Color made by Nintendo and Neo Geo Pocket made by SNK. All of these devices shared a similar design and the dimensions were close.

Today, you can download all kinds of Bandai Wonderswan ROMs, open them via an emulator and play. The most common emulators are Higan, OpenEmu, RetroArch and Retrix.

Once you have selected the desired emulator, you can download the ROMs and play games such as Langrisser Millenium WS - The Last Century, Terrors, Neon Genesis Evangelion Shito Ikusei, Hunter X and many others.
