About

The first thing  I did when  hacking the gfx  was... guess what?  Right, putting
Angela in a bikini  ^_^  The character you  run around with  is  completely done
and has   been fully  inserted  in  the Rom.   The status  screen  pics are done
either, and as of now, I've inserted them as well! ^_^
    The  second  gfx hack  I've  done this  far  is giving  Angela  better eyes.
Normally, all characters only have black dots for eyes - I've fixed this now for
Angela. Her eye color depends on her actual class.
    Then I've  now improved  Lise's eyes  as well,  giving her  real eye  colors
instead of the  odd black dots  she had  before. Just like Angela, her eye color
depends of her actual class.
    Finally, I'm of course still improving the colors. As you probably know, the
colors of the different classes in  SD3 aren't all that great... some  even suck
tremendously, and you wonder what the  hell they were smoking when they  came up
with that, e.g. Angela  and many others get  gray hair when doing  a light class
change - gross, isn't it? >_<;;
    So,  besides the gfx improvements,  you'll also get much better colors which
don't cause you brainpain when looking at them.

Features
--------
Gfx Improvements:
- Angela now wears a bikini, which makes her even hotter ^_^
  This not only includes the character you run around with, but also the big
  status screen pics of all her classes! ^_^
- Angela has now much better eyes and actual eye colors instead of simple black
  dots as before. This includes the character and the status screen pics.
- Lise now has improved eyes as well and real eye colors! This includes the
  character and the status screen pics.

Color Improvements:
- all classes of all six characters! (all 42) ^_^
- Angela's mother (Valda, the Queen of Reason)
- Koren, the Wizard of the Red Lotus
- normal sorceress in Altena
- normal amazoness in Rolante
- Duran's entire family: Loki (father), Simone (mother), Stella (aunt),
                         Wendy-baby+kid (sister), Duran-kid
- the fairy
- entire population of Forcena (new in 1.3)
- entire population of Maia (new in 1.3)
- everyone in Rolante castle - King, Elliot, Alma etc. (new in 1.4)
- entire population of Palo (new in 1.4)
- entire population of Astoria (new in 1.4)

How to use
----------
Use IpsWin, which you  can d/l from my  homepage (see Url above).  Start IpsWin,
browse for your Rom (e.g. 'Seiken Densetsu 3.smc') under "File to patch", browse
for 'SD3improvement13.ips' under "IPS patch to use" and click on 'Apply'.

It works  with the  Japanese, English  translated and  German translated version
alike and can be applied over previous versions.

Note: If you   load from   a savegame,   you won't   have the   new colors right
===== away. *Don't Panic!*  Just exit  the current  screen, and  you will   have
      the new colors.   If  you  load   from  a battery   save  (on  the   start
      screen with 'Continue'), you'll have the new colors immediately.

Future features
---------------
I've started a new game (once again  ^_^) with Lise, Angela and Carlie and  will
fix all NPCs I come upon during my way. The first results (Rolante castle, Palo,
Astoria) can already be see in this version (1.4). More to come as I proceed.
