Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
The Adventures of Bass 2 Hack of Mega Man 2. NOT Rockman 2 Author: Sivak Drac Thank you for trying out my MM2 hack! About the hack -------------- This hack is a project of mine on Mega Man 2. The levels are altered both color wise and structure wise. Also features different enemy palettes and a few different sprites (not many though). The game is basically Bass being the hero and Dr. Light as the enemy. I came up with the idea back in 1999 but I never had the resources to make a quality hack such as this. This is why you see 1999/2001 in the opening. Known glithces/bugs ------------------- The boomerang shooter in Air Man's level midway doesn't appear if you die and respawn there. It'll appear if you face left. Another instance is a wall you can destroy in Flash Man's stage. These are the only two I know off hand. Things to do ------------ Draw the giant Mega Man at the end into a giant Bass. Some tiles are done, but not all. Possibly fix the bugs. Conclusion ---------- This is one of those places where you'd see "I'm not responsible if your computer goes wack by use of this hack." If it goes wack, rest assured it's something else.
