A very intriguing puzzler. Magical Drop seems to be complicated at first, but is simple when you get the hang of it. There are these bubble tiles that appear from the top of the screen (think Puzzle Bobble), except you pop them by controlling a character at the bottom of the screen using the d-pad and two buttons. One button takes away bubbles from top and the other shoots them back up. Bubbles pop when three of the same colour are matched vertically. Being the first game in the series, the game doesn't offer too much outside of the core gameplay. There's a vs. mode, exercise (endless) mode and puzzle mode with preset patterns. It's a repetitive but fun arcade puzzler that I recommend puzzle game fans try out.
