Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Uchuu Senkan Gomora IPS patch 18th Feb. 2016 by fusaru made with HivePAL ==Purpose of the patch== Changes the game's colors so that they reflect the Arcade version more closely. ==Usage== Apply the included IPS file to the ROM (e.g. via Retron 5, dedicated program such as "StealthPatch IPS Patcher"). If you get a red screen, the checksum needs to be fixed. Programs such as ESE FixCheckSum can do this for you. ==Notes== *for HivePAL users that want to improve this or do their own colors 038000 First row is 1P ship, shots, explosions, status bars, yellow enemies and bosses; second row is green enemies, silver enemies; t third row os blue enemies, 2P ship, bosses These three 16 color palettes are always active ingame and control everthing that isn't a background, they never change ingame. If you fix one certain aspect e.g. make the green ships more apple green like in the arcade version, all asteroids will also be apple green. My biggest gripe was that I couldn't fix the explosions green tone, as it's connected with the 1P ship's color. To fox that, somebody must uncompress and edit the explosions graphics. All other stage graphics are below 038000, just scroll down in the browser to find them. It's always only the first 16 colors row of a block of colors. ==legal stuff== Do whatever you want with these files, it's just a hobby for me. If you want to improve this and resubmit, go ahead. More fun for everyone.
