Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

This patches your .NES files directly without needing to punch in individual codes. You will require an IPS patcher to use this file. I'd recommend Lunar IPS, which you may obtain at http://fusoya.eludevisibility.org/lips/ ~This patch also comes with a set of 26 Game-Genie-format codes in the gamegeniecodes.txt file. These may be decoded by your emulator, an external website, or Game Genie hardware to apply some or all of the patch. This file is annotated so you can choose which elements of the patch you'd like to apply. I also included the patch screenshots because why not?
