My copy is a work-in-progress, but what I've played so far is interesting, if not fun. Some of the bosses seem to actually be made of polygons, which for me is disappointing because this is so early in the life of 3D modeling that you lose a lot of detail that would otherwise be hand-drawn with tiny sprites. For a better follow-up to your Strider addiction, try Cannon Dancer by Mitchell/Atlus.
