Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Super Metroid 2015 (Hyper Metroid Nintendit) by dex909 [Version 1.4] This is a patch for the Super Metroid hack "Hyper Metroid 1.0" by Trevor 'RealRed' Sitkoff http://www.hyper.metroidconstruction.com/ which is based on "Project Base 0.7.2" by Michael 'begrimed' Silcox It contains a revised Hyper Metroid story intro, removing some of the more controversial parts added by the original hack. Several other adjustments, such as edited and restored logos for introductions and the outro as well as minor palette changes, have been made to make it appear more like an official release may have looked back in the day. This patch also includes minor sound and graphics changes such as the restoration of Samus' eye during the intro. The original changes from "Hyper Metroid 1.0" are included in this edit. Choose one of the .ips patches and apply it to an unheadered rom of Super Metroid e.g. "Super Metroid (JU) [!].smc". Super Metroid (JU) [!] [h] [Hyper Metroid 1.0 Nintendit 1.4].ips -> This patch contains all modifications from Hyper Metroid 1.0 including several cosmetic changes and edits such as: * A revised intro text, changing some of the more controversial parts of the original Hyper Metroid intro * Sound changes (different morphing ball sound and others that were bothering some players) * The default controls are back to Super Metroid/Project Base defaults * Samus' eye has been restored to how it looked in the original Super Metroid intro (removed the scar) * "Game Over" animation restored (original Nintendo censored version) * Very minor palette corrections for the suits and Samus' ship in the intro and on the planet * Minor changes to a background * Edited Brinstar palettes Also included is a custom box art for Hyper Metroid. It doesn't force the player to take a new path, or to use any advanced techniques. Well-known sequence breaks and shortcuts have been left alone, with many new ones added. Highly speedrunnable, and with a level of difficulty that is accessible to anyone. Works with Snes9X, ZSNES, higan/BSNES, and on SNES/flash cartridges. FEATURES: - General movement is less inhibited, with many new tricks made possible - Modified enemies and bosses, including AI and graphical touch-ups - Faster elevators, doors, room transitions and item-collection sequences - Bug fixes and polish applied whenever possible - New rooms added, others expanded and/or merged - Alternate versions that offer even more ways to enjoy Super Metroid!
