Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Description: This patch changes Link from A Link to the Past into the Minish Cap Zelda. All tunics have been adopted accordingly as well as the dark world creature. In addition lots of other GFX and PALs were changed, specially sprites and objects. All texts have been adopted to fit the female main character, so if you are a brother who has a little sister or a father who has a little daughter etc, this is your chance to give her an experience of ALttP with the female main character, so she can now identify as the main character easier, as if playing with the male character Link. Patching: Patch the IPS Minish Cap Zelda to original ALttP SNES file with the SMC extension, the US region, and NO header. Get the Lunar IPS program to do so. Other roms like EU and J will not work or will produce partially working or bugged roms. Header roms will not work as well. The file size of the original must be 1.024KB. If it is 1.025KB, then the file has a header, which must be removed before patching (header is a 200 byte intro of the file). The file size after patching must be 2.048KB, since the rom was expanded to 2MB.
