The game is to control a woman named Manon Batiste, who belongs to the French Resistance, against the Axis armies during World War II. After losing his brother fighting for the Resistance, Manon is recruited by the OSS and goes on missions in occupied Europe and Africa. These include the rescue of prisoners of war from Monte Cassino Abbey, just before the battle; the sabotage of a V-1 bomb factory in occupied France; and the fight against the Nazi occupation of Paris. The game features classic historical scenarios in its phases, such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Wewelsburg Castle in Germany, the Knossos palace in Crete and the macabre catacombs of Paris, built in real life with the bones of approximately 6 million people in the underground city. The game was released for the PlayStation console on October 23, 2000, in the United States of America.
