I've done my best to include the legends of the NBA, with a few non NBA players added too (see bottom of list).
I apologise if I may have missed certain players, or perhaps spelled someones name wrong or they look weird in game.
I myself haven't really watched the NBA since Michael Jordan retired from the Bulls for the second time. 
I do know of a few of the current players and those over the last 20 years, but again, I may have missed quite a lot.
Don't worry tho, drop me a message and i'll include whomever you feel should be included.

Also, please note I haven't edited everyone out of the original game, so please don't be shocked to see someones name
mentioned on the roster and you wonder wtf theyre included for? I've tried to make at least the starting lineup legends.
Some teams I just have no clue about, so a quick google search of "best players for such and such a team" displayed a 
few of them, so hopefully I got most of them right.

NOTE/TIP: When you first load up this rom for the first time, it will ask you to draft the Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies. 
IF you select auto, it will randomly trade players from all teams. To get the selected rosters I have built, make sure to go to 
"manual", then once in, back out, the rom will most likely crash, but just hit restart and the chosen rosters I have built should
appear. I have tested this with Fusion on PC and MultiEmulator on android, not sure about any other emulators.
